An Indigo Backup System for You!

Whatever your requirements, the chances are that an Indigo system can be tailored to them, however exacting you may be. How can Indigo Backup systems be so flexible? It is because of its unique smart client structure.

Each Indigo Backup client can either work completely autonomously, or can be locked together as part of a backup grid using the Indigo Grid software. When Indigo Backup is locked into a grid, you will require at least one Indigo Grid client for each network. Indigo Grid acts in a similar way to a server system and allows remote control and monitoring of the Indigo Backup clients. In addition, Indigo Grid allows you to control all your users Indigo Backup licenses centrally. Combine all this with our web based My Indigo system you will have cutting edge data backup and recovery at the click of a button across your business!

Sounds complicated to set up? Well believe us it's not! Without Indigo Grid being installed, Indigo Backup will decide automatically what it's setup options should be upon installation. If you are using Indigo Grid, your Indigo Backup clients will automatically find it and log on to your backup grid. How about a pre-existing installation of Indigo Backup that now needs to be locked into a grid? Simple, add Indigo Grid to your server or system and the pre-existing Indigo Backup clients are designed to find it and log on.

Medium / Small Business / Large Home Network

The simplest and most popular way to use Indigo on a small network. Simply install, click and your data is protected automatically.

You require copies of Indigo Backup, 2 or more copies of Indigo Grid, client PC or laptops running Windows, 1 server running Windows.
Consider using a more complex Indigo Backup setup if you have a mixed network, or access to two or more servers
Recommended for groups of less than 200 users
Suitable for Indigo Backup versions 1 to 5, and Indigo Grid versions 1 to 2.

Full Corporate System

An example of how Indigo can be used to fulfil the requirements of a large business wide area network. Not every feature of Indigo is used but this example will show you how to implement the main architecture of the system.

This system has been tested on mixed WAN networks with a potential test base of over 8,000 mobile and fixed users.
Suitable for Indigo Backup versions 1 to 5, and Indigo Grid versions 1 to 2.
