Most people choose to backup their PCs to a folder on a drive on their PC (eg. c:\my_backup). Great idea, except what happens if your PC corrupts and cannot boot up? How do you get at your backup then?!!

Many people choose to backup to CD or DVD. Great idea, but extremely inconvienient and hugely impractical if you want to keep a up-to-date backup of your data by updating it automatically every few hours. In addition, you end up with either a stack of DVDs that you don't need or you run the gauntlet of a DVD-RW corrupting when you most need to get at your data.

The Cube solves all these problems and more, in one inexpensive package. Simply plug it into the USB socket of your PC or Laptop and it'll take care of the rest. Your system will be backed up on a timed basis that you choose (1+ hours), and it'll all happen without you being aware of it - silently and automatically while you work. What's more is that even if your PC corrupts beyond repair or suffers irrepairable hardware damage, all your files and your computer's settings will remain backed up and safe on the Cube. When you purchase a new PC simply plug the Cube into it and with the click of a button your backed up files and your settings will be transferred. Simple!

The Cube is designed to be easily networked for other PCs on your network to use it's backup services.

The Cube has also been designed to be used as an additional secure storage area for your files. It will appear as an additional drive on your PC, but unlike your other drives the Cube SSA Drive will still hold the files stored on it securely, even if your PC is damaged or corrupted beyond repair.
